This is my anonymised account as, due to being stalked and trolled, I’ve had to suspend social media accounts where my details appear publicly. One day things may be different, but not while our courts and govt appease, promote & protect fascist “beliefs”.

As an MP and government minister, Streeting pulls in £160k a year - plus hefty expenses and donations

You’d hope that would buy the NHS a leader genuinely equipped for the job

Instead we get a Wes, someone more focused on bullying doctors than showing he understands the org he’s meant to lead
'Don't tell me you don't want to be out on strike - because that is exactly where you are. Own it.'

As resident doctors walk out again, Wes Streeting calls out the 'reprehensible and cartel-like behaviour' of their union.

(See ex-BBC GC transphobe Cath Leng talking about making the word ‘cis’ controversial to get it banned at the BBC.

These are people who are totally OBSESSED with trans people and make their ENTIRE lives about their ‘gender critical’ transphobic ideological beliefs - seeking to abuse their positions of power and influence to PUSH their ideology on others.

There are SENIOR people (people in positions of immense influence and power) installed at the BBC, who are (in Alastair Campbell’s words) “*SO* far over in the JK Rowling camp”…

Presumably, he means “so far over in the ‘gender critical’ transphobe camp” - not just slightly, but “SO far”…

Let’s just stop and think about this for a moment…

I wonder if the “REALLY senior people at the BBC who are SO far over on the JK Rowling camp” could be BBC Non-Exec Board Director, JKR friend, and ‘gender critical’ transphobe, Muriel Gray - who was re-appointed to the BBC board 2 weeks before the “Prescott memo” was ‘leaked’!? 🤔🤔🤔

One of my rather lame 😛 proposed grounds for judicial review was that the EHRC had failed to carry out its duty to monitor the effectiveness of our HR & Eq Acts, as Emily noted below.

I would say that Tom Cross KC more than fulfilled that duty today by highlighting all the existing inefficacy.
What if - and hear me out on this - we had some kind of Commission who's job it was to continually monitor the efficacy of our human rights & equalities laws, and immediately flag when they are falling short.

We could call it the Human Rights and Equalities Commission.
2/ I missed the first hour of the hearing. I understand Alex Goodman KC addressed the human rights grounds.

Tom Cross KC, representing the EHRC, largely argued that the law itself is transphobic, and that the guidance accurately reflected this transphobia.

We with real life experience know that we know from a young age. These kids know who and what they are, so I say: BELIEVE THEM.

The gatekeepers would rather sacrifice dozens of Trans Kids for the sake of one regretter. That shows where their priorities lie and who they value more...

Tribunal Tweets completely got this part wrong, and the Mumsnet crowd thinks the judge was being dismissive. Their “transcript” can be very misleading.
37/ The primary argument is that the 1992 Regulations only require that facilities be provided. They do not specify how these facilities must be managed. The judge asked about empowering clause, definition etc.

Wes Streeting has received £225k from private healthcare donors in the past year and I just don't think my morals could be bought for the price of half a London flat. I don't know if I have a number that would make me sell my country's health service down the river but Wes and I are different.

Major news.

Police Scotland’s newly announced “sex at birth” recording policy represents a deeply regressive and discriminatory shift in policing practice. It raises profound concerns for the dignity, safety and human rights of transgender people across Scotland.

Read the archive piece below.
It explains how the Newsnight spun the story to make it appear that trans kids were receiving cross-sex hormones at an age when they were not.
This is what Maitlis was bragging about.
If you want to read more about how BBC Newsnight actively worked as agents of anti-trans propaganda - platforming misinformation and working as a lobby platform to influence anti-trans policies - you can read more from the excellent @simonwhitten.bsky.social here:

the entirety of the british press talked themselves into believing this woman is trans based almost entirely on JK Rowling's judgement of the athlete's appearance.
Nothing illustrates the arseholery of the IOC and the British Press more than the use of the image of a not-Trans woman to illustrate a story about trans women being banned (because there are no current trans women competing at this level)
