Sadly we won't get to see a 1986 Super Bowl rematch.

Spring semester starts tomorrow (yes, we have class on MLK Day and every other darn holiday). But I get to start teaching my Milton seminar, and it feels more urgent than ever. "Milton! thou shouldst be living at this hour:"

Philly? LOL. I wish I was still living there to see it. Folks in Philly will eat these fools alive.
I've heard rumors that Philadelphia is next for the ICE invasion after Minneapolis.
Maybe I'm wrong, but
1) More than 11% of all ICE agents are in Minneapolis, and they've utterly failed to pacify the city.
2) Philly is 5x the size of Minneapolis.
3) "Minnesota nice" is a thing. We don't have that.

I remember this issue. Daredevil #283, where Captain and Daredevil team up to protect a man who invented a flying car and is being threatened by oil companies.

This entire story is absolute gold, and this panel lives rent-free in my head ever since I first read it.

Modern bookbinding in LotR.
#FilmSky, a quick question; what is the pettiest thing you have had to be annoyed at a film? I ask because I am watching The Gift from 2000, and the main character does divination with Zener Cards, which are not the same thing as Tarot at all. Why go for a more boring looking option?

I can't imagine that military actions abroad and the denial of civil rights at home is going to inspire ordinary consumers to spend money. Watch what happens when the economy is no longer being propped up by consumer spending.

I feel like repeating something I said about a year ago: there are a lot of good people, trying to do their jobs and protect the institutions and people they're responsible for, dealing with situations and pressures very, very few of us have ever seen before. Try to give them some grace.

My home river was the Connecticut, but as a rower I had so many rivers that become temporary homes: the Mohawk, the Charles, the Ouse, the Thames, and the Schuylkill.
The Schuylkill, but I still consider the river of my youth - the New River - to be my home river.
My favorite Twitter prompt was "RT this with your home river," so reskeet this with your home river.

Mine is the Patuxent.
