On Monday, the University of Alabama suspended two student-run magazines over fears stemming from a July DOJ memo. The student journalists I spoke with yesterday told me that the decision was nonsensical and threatened their First Amendment rights.

Jojo kind of talks about this fairly often. Because she wasn't classically trained, she was killing her throat, especially as her voice changed. It wasn't until she did theater and was taught to preserve her throat did she truly step into all she could do.
You’re going to see a lot of the new singers having throat surgery or getting polyps from straining their voice to achieve that sound ProTools made them appear to be.

Can we get MNBA players to sport a pay them what you owe them t shirt? Get Bam on the phone
The labor has to strike now. I get it's a shitty option, but the MNBA is not negotiating in good faith. It's the leverage you have.

So let me get this right: Chris Paul was cut for being a good leader, and doing what vets should always do?!?!

Tell me the Clippers are a terrible franchise without telling me the Clippers are a terrible franchise.
Chris Paul and his leadership style clashed with the Clippers, sources tell ESPN. Paul has been vocal in holding management, coaches and players accountable, which the team felt became disruptive. Specifically: Ty Lue was not on speaking terms with Paul for several weeks.

Statehood for D.C. is an ethical obligation at this point, required to protect the rights of our residents to govern ourselves against such out-of-state troops being sent to patrol our city.

What does it say about this country that that the kind of open, rank bigotry Trump administration officials regularly express towards black immigrants apparently has no social cost because of the number of Americans who quietly agree or don't care.

As your hottie friend doing work on data centers, I am BEGGING you to stop using AI.

It is not worth the increase in your electricity bills.
the increase in water bills
the emergency room visits
the droughts
the degradation of ecosystems
the fatalities
the racism

I admit that I'm less rigid on this depending on the price of the place. If it's white table cloth $$$ then there absolutely should not be a QR code. If it's a casual spot, that's fine.
I also hate restaurant menu QR codes. Irks me badT!!! Give me a fucking paper ass menu pls! Laminate that bitch if you gotta. idc idc idc.
