Last summer vacation, I took the time to help my kid create a persona. We made a character design and everything and talked a lot about online safety while we did it. It's absolutely possible AND fun to educate instead of forbidding.
The AI shit isnt inevitable, but smartphones arent going anywhere. Either we start teaching kids how to behave in bigger community spaces (for safety esp) or we're gonna see a lotta problems.
Ive known millenial parents who handle it well, it takes being involved with their tech etiquette ed early.

I've dabbled with the idea that Nicky likes to try and create pretty images with their fire powers. Not entirely sure if I pull through with it though.

Accessibility is important, yes, but let's not forget that people have different levels of energy to provide them.

i think the accessibility features on bluesky are great but because i don't use the platform often, i always forget they're there. whenever i post my art, i post the same thing on all my socials at the same time, so it's a lot of copypasting.

I'm in that shifting zone, I think.
Sometimes it's still hard to let go of that "I need to be good" mindset.
I have noticed that when I do manage to let go, the art looks SO MUCH better.
