I have been thinking and talking about Israel my whole life, and have taught about Israel, Palestine, and the Middle East since 2008, well before TikTok existed. I can attest that young Americans’ opinion of Israel has gotten more negative over that time, and the main reason is Israel’s actions.
Also apropos nothing else, public opinion was turning against Israel before TikTok went mainstream

I’ve sometimes fallen into the trap of thinking that complementing a creative person for their work is less sophisticated or desired than discussion or debate about it but very often the best thing you can say to them is hell yeah and that doesn’t make you dumb it just makes you nice

lots of basic stuff can get fucked up by COVID.
my longer version is that I already have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and I don't want worse POTS, or ME/CFS on top of my POTS.

it's important to not get lost in the sauce over specific definitions bc that usually detracts from the reality that disabled people have historically been ignored/hated/culled by all. but this ain't it either, man. eugenics is about removal far more than it is about production, so it is wrong.
Shrug. Eugenics was bad because it involved racist pseudoscience and forced sterilization. If we're using "eugenics" broadly to mean "any effort to produce desired genetic characteristics" then there's nothing wrong with eugenics as such.
