If the US is actually shooting at drug traffickers—a big if, at least for all strikes, since they never show evidence, and Colombia says some killed Colombian fishermen—then it’s not only illegal, it’s stupid strategy too.

What’s the goal here, get cartels to shift a little more to land routes?

We had a NATO coalition and tens of thousands of troops in Afghanistan for 20 years and never managed to stop the cultivation of opium.

I have no idea what sort of brain damage the Trump administration has that makes them think they’re going to drone strike their way into ending cocaine use.

I wish I could say something like “congrats on figuring out what most knew from the beginning after it slapped you in the face for the fifteenth time,” but I am unfortunately not optimistic that they’ll change their approach to Putin, and acknowledge that Russia’s the aggressor perpetuating the war.

Isn't the butt of this joke usually centrists?

I really don't think the best way to beat fascists is to dabble in a little fascism, and strongly disagree with those who think that everyone has a Nazi phase (most don't) or that without at least some tolerance for Nazi stuff you can't appeal to men.

Trump didn’t just take billions of taxpayer dollars and give it to Argentina with no legal process to help a politician he likes avoid losses in domestic elections and hook up a billionaire he knows who made a bad bet on Argentina.

He gave away billions of Americans’ money and it didn’t even work.

The University of Virginia has capitulated to Trump on transgender and race (affirmative action) issues.

The details are currently sparse, but reporting suggests they've agreed to define trans people out of existence and ban trans students from facilities.
