imo in a healthy relationship, im the one that's doing most of the vibrating
Alone in the Dark is pretty halloween-y, though I also thing it's kinda bad. Historically significant, groundbreaking, technically remarkable - but not good.
It was cool when games would open with THIS GAME IS SO FUCKIN SCARY, IT'LL GIVE YOU NIGHTMARES.

It's lame now that they open with like the equivalent of a Pharma ad listing side-effects, all "May contain potentially troubling mentions of toe-stubbing, ingrown hairs, mean guys"
Never heard of this, but I can see it at a glance. Candlelight, haunted house. Looks kinda like RE1-remake or Haunting Ground, at least aesthetically.
Waiting on the PS4 emulation to get really airtight, but I will play Bloodborne someday. From what I've seen of it, totally agree. Also ditto Dark Souls 1 (haven't played 3). Sekiro too, honestly.

I'd say Echo Night is also pretty halloween, from what I've seen of it.
Left 4 Dead, extremely halloween ass game. Straight up feels like putting on costumes and running out to 'play zombies' with your friends.

Siren, reasonably. Has a definite autumnal quality.

Was playing Dead Space. Not particularly Halloween.
Resident Evil? All the best entries at least are extremely halloween. Especially 1, 2, 4 and 7. Literal haunted house and scary mask stuff.

The biggest exception, among the (more or less) good entries at least, would be 8 -- that is a blatantly wintertime game.
Silent Hill 1 and 3? A little halloween-y.

Silent Hill 2? Post-halloween. Late fall or winter, depending on your climate. When the trees are well and truly barren, the leaves on the ground are brown, you can smell them rotting on a breeze that bites the tip of your nose.
Been trying to think of not-just-horror games, but games that feel specifically sorta seasonally appropriate. MedEvil would be another example. Doesn't have to be on the nose pumpkins and skeletons, just a certain tone and texture. Anyone else have some?
I feel like Crow Country is a really good Halloween game. Not just a horror game, but it has a particular energy, vibe, colour palette, tone idk... that goes hand in hand with the season. Autumnal, a little playful, something funhouse/dress-up about it.

Maybe bc it's set at an amusement park?

It has the hotline to call if you see 🧊 activity as well as Know Your Rights information and lists upcoming community trainings.

A great resource. Please share widely!

A lot of beautiful women where I live but their dating profiles are all like "I am a conscientiously vibrating entity"
another vision out of spiritus mundi.... Woke Nixon
Classic case of confusing the guys who get angrily RT'd onto your timeline with everyday irl people
Privatizing public services because they're not well managed is like living in a crappy house and going "This whole living indoors thing just doesn't work. It's unnatural! We should all sleep out in a ditch like god intended."
You can tell just from the headline that this is a potemkin fad cooked up by marketing and nobody in real life is sincerely doing this
“Prompt parties,” gatherings of women over cheese and wine to chat about how ChatGPT can help them, are emerging as the next-generation of Tupperware party in San Francisco.

Oct 25th is marked in my Calendar as "Tales From Genesis Space Day" and I have no idea why. I don't remember putting that in there.
