Occasionally I think Star Trek should have a Kreetasan regular character bcoz a culture thats all about weird etiquette and strict taboos would mke for interesting writing (like they think eating should only be done in private).

This, a million times over. Please tell people when you like their work. Creatives can go a very long time without any outside input at all, positive or otherwise, so a gesture of appreciation often makes all the difference in the world.
Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.
