Seal of the day. Every year around this time a few seals come to this beach and hang out. #NorthOtago #Seal
I don’t know what a tipshop is but will look it up thanks.
There was one other stick at shop but the *assistant* says this was better because full support for plex. I bought it and will plug in tonight to test.

The tv is about 10? Years old. It has usb connector but apparently there is no wifi on a usb directly that works. This is a workaround.
I trained as a lawyer. It makes it easier to get the real culprits off because reasonable doubt just got a huge boost.

The maths is damming.
Does anyone i know use an amazon firestick.

I have an old tv that I’m hoping to get on the wifi. Panasonic Viera with HDMI & other connectors including ethernet?

I use Plex mostly and that is apparently a supported app.

Not interested in amazon or netflix but they work too i hear. On a mac

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
This. It is a terrible breach of tie social compact / contract.

We have enough scofflaws around in the general population already. Don’t need any more.

Btw: the Scofflaw word came from prohibition days in the US. The law & police lose respect that hard to regain.

Just reading my #simplicity update and is Shamubeel Eaqub the most amazing and intelligent economist in Aotearoa

Pure genius
If we come over to your hood it would be rude not to :) i will need to check but as the local guide my plan would be to visit Lyttleton for sure.
Thanks Nat. I’m around for weekend of 22nd. I will have my car and may do a field trip to Lyttelton too. Depends on what the guests want to do. But coffee company seems fine to me and the view over there is good too as you know :)
They see everything & know instantly if it means walk time. In fact every time i sit down or close the laptop lid it is cause for excitement.
sadly just bookmarked this as I have some boots that need new laces ha ha.
I remember my grandmother bribing one of my cousins to get him to tie a shoelace sometime in the 70's. Until that moment it never occurred to me that it might be hard for some people.

I now favour slip ons where possible. And the dog watches every move. I can't tell if you are writing satire yet?
I liked it and I was only there for 30 mins. It also felt like Prahran Markets but smaller. Somewhere between laneway and market is a sweet spot. So going back. Going to be in town for a weekend soon ironically with some Sydney based friends who used to live in Melbourne.
Thanks Cyn, I figured it was part of the post quake rebuild. It seems as close to a Melbourne style laneways as we get in NZ and I like that kind of thing.
Mine was on till an hour ago.
No - it had a name like ferry or stream or river buildings @nathanielflick.bsky.social will know but I will look up that one too.
Yes apparently EVERYONE was defaulted to ON.

I get occasional messages from old friends on there so keeping the app for the time being.

One of my high profile ex Twitter friends went there and uses it like a long form old school twitter.

I got there from Plaxo a very long time ago.
Christchurch people - what is the name of that mall converted industrial building near centre - possibly litchfield st. It is like a series of smaller businesses in a market setup.

I'm trying to explain to an Aussie visitor but realised I don't know the name or address really?

Don't AI web browsers seem like a terrible idea given all the baked-in vulnerabilities in current generation AIs? My browser knows a bunch of things about me, including all kinds of financial and password stuff, and LLMs are famously trickable.
Trust our gullible-chatty-idiot with alll your secrets!
Forgot about that - thanks AJ.
