it's so embarrassing to watch both Micheál Martin and Simon Harris constantly run down the clock on their speaking time in the Dáil by picking out some bit of rhetoric used by the opposition and contriving to suggest there's some disrespectful or disreputable about it

My carefully considered, nuanced and balanced policy view is that we should tax gambling profits, including sports betting, at like 98% and one executive's kidney per quarter.
I'm not sure having every UK mainstreet be three quarters Ladbrokes is good, actually.

Of course they don't actually want that! What they are talking about is restricting certain groups of people while others are unrestricted and they should be honest about it. If 200,000 French people decided to move to Ireland tomorrow all these restrictions will do less than nothing
