A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

Generations from now, when historians study this period where we have perfect understanding of the problem, and brilliant, readily available solutions with all the resources necessary to implement them, they'll study cases like this to try to figure out why we kept drilling holes in our lifeboat.

Saw a LinkedIn post today from a Serious Person who hailed progress on Ireland's planned LNG import terminal, and hilariously suggesting the gas could be sourced from cheap overseas biomethane.

Sadly, they weren't joking.

It might as well be powered by vibes.

Irish tech journalism has precisely three articles:

1. Oisin McMusk has raised $118m for his GraphQL- powered AI-enabled dogball shaver.
2. A panel on why the technology they have in their LinkedIn headlines isn't going away!
3. CatballShaver's CEO, on why he expects revenue to triple next month.

Like for real, I haven't seen a single thing in the media for ages about Sally Rooney except in the context of the Brits doing the will-we-won't-we dance about banning her books. Couldn't have come up with better marketing if you were her biggest fan
Advisor: Last time we tried charging Irish artists with terrorism offenses over trivial nonsense it ended up massively boosting their profile and embarrassing the government

the failed pivots to NFTs and Web 3.0 were hideously expensive misfires from tech, but they are going to look like rounding errors compared to the failure of the AI pivot

Actually, using inclusive language is good, supporting asylum seekers is good, being an empathetic person is good. I won’t be swayed on these truths because this degenerative capitalist society of ours thinks the wind is blowing the other way

Nobody believes in Good Guys and Bad Guys more than NATO heads. They'll go blue in the face insisting only they understand the nuance of international relations, but the moment you criticise the Good Guys it's because you like the Bad Guys.

the midwits who run these companies have catastrophically overspent on an AI revolution that simply isn't coming, but they can't admit that, so it's time to squeeze workers for shareholder value

EU Commissioner Michael McGrath has backed Taoiseach Micheál Martin to continue as the leader of Fianna Fáil, saying his experience would be an asset when Ireland assumes the presidency of the European Union next year.

My carefully considered, nuanced and balanced policy view is that we should tax gambling profits, including sports betting, at like 98% and one executive's kidney per quarter.

I'm not sure having every UK mainstreet be three quarters Ladbrokes is good, actually.
