Nothing like being neurosplained that I'm apparently living through hell during my Monday morning commute to work.

Such an amazing and incredibly underrated actor. The performance of his that blew me away the most was when he played Yuri I'm Red Alert 2.

RIP Udo Kier.

Absolutely tragic this happened. But also pure darwinism.

That section of track is in between a freeway and fenced off. There's also plenty of areas to safely cross the freeway.

This comment on Reddit from the other day sums this up.

Day one taking the REM leaving McGill heading north. Not very many people, but to be fair it only just opened up.

My final commute time was about 10 minutes shorter. The bus afterwards got stuck in traffic.

Taking advantage of the Free opening weekend for Rem opening in Montreal.

Already I can tell this is going to be a game changer. I did a test trip, and found it shaves at least 20 minutes off my commute time to work.

That's a big game changer.

Really excited to try the REM. I just found out that the opening of this new line gives me a new route to work with less stops.

So it's going to be interesting to see if this cuts down on my commute time.

I'm begging you all in the media. Please read the emails for more than 2 seconds. They don't just say Trump "knew" about underage girls. THE EMAILS SAY HE PERSONALLY PARTICIPATED.

I think this is what disappoints me the most about the Montreal Mayoral election.

Our city really needed an equivalent to Zohran Mamdani with strong policies.
Élections Montréal estimates that voter turnout as of 4 p.m. today was 27%. Polls close at 8.

A reminder that just 38.32% of eligible voters turned out in Montreal’s last election. This was 4% lower than in 2017.

As Jean-Marc Léger said in 2021, “Quebecers let a minority decide for them.”

My biggest worry with an Ensemble Montréal win isn’t a Doug Ford-style attempt to rip out the busiest bike routes in the city like Saint-Denis.

It’s sabotaging up-and-coming bike-friendly neighbourhoods, especially new major structural routes that would be their Saint-Denis.

Critical Mass Montreal has released an interactive map that allows cyclists to pinpoint potentially problematic and unsafe areas for cyclists around the city. In order to make these routes safer. No need for a questionable winter audit.

Explain your username!

Well ... its my name. Plus I wanted to reserve it while BlueSky was in beta, on other sites I had to use an underscore or the first initial of my middle name because my name was already taken.

Inb4 it was scooped up by an Elvis impersonator.

I'm Finnish, and my official ADHD diagnosis is ADHD inattentive. I started posting with this username elsewhere years ago when the ADHD types were still talked about more. But, don't fancy changing it now.
Explain your username!

Don’t think I’ve ever explained it. I like adverbs! It also means:

- “that’s So-renable” (cheeky, like “that’s so Raven”)
- but also “Soren is able” (a reminder to myself that I got this)
- it’s a made up, unique word based on my chosen name that I like the sound of (roundy)

If you don't want cyclists to ride in your car lanes.
Don't vote to take away bike lanes.
What a disappointment.

The opposition party, which has a chance of winning Montreal’s next election, has announced that they will start with a 12-to-18-month moratorium on new bike lanes.

Expansion of the bike network is “definitively not our priority” following the election.
