Nothing like being neurosplained that I'm apparently living through hell during my Monday morning commute to work.
wandering_deidra replying to @thedavethibault (i.e. Me) what an ignorant comment. Autism is living hell for most people who have it. Even those with high functioning autism are living in hell.

That section of track is in between a freeway and fenced off. There's also plenty of areas to safely cross the freeway.

Day one taking the REM leaving McGill heading north. Not very many people, but to be fair it only just opened up.

My final commute time was about 10 minutes shorter. The bus afterwards got stuck in traffic.

Taking advantage of the Free opening weekend for Rem opening in Montreal.

Already I can tell this is going to be a game changer. I did a test trip, and found it shaves at least 20 minutes off my commute time to work.

I'm willing to place my bet that it was because of his support for the Freedom Convoy. Because it wasn't just his seat. All the seats in the Ottawa region went to the liberals.

I heard about this story earlier today. The West Ada school district used an incredibly terrible sports analogy to explain their reasoning.

It makes the district sound incredibly authoritarian.

Every player knows that while they bring their own strengths and personality to the game, they must operate within the rules to maintain fairness and consistency. If one player decided to wear a different uniform, use a different-sized ball, or ignore the rules, the game would lose its structure, creating confusion and imbalance. Similarly, West Ada Board Policy serves as our rulebook, ensuring that all visual aids and displays in classrooms align with district guidelines and contribute to a focused, distraction-free learning space.
