Yes, Israel bombed a wedding in Gaza today.

No, the mainstream media is not interested.

Trump has now conducted 28 boat strikes, killing over 100 people.

Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs. We're simply taking Trump's word for it.

He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

This is a danger to us all.

Same with movie studios 🥲
The year is 2035. There are three game studios left. Each one produces a game every 10 years, killing 250+ developers in the process. They all accidentally make the same game because they used genAI in preproduction. They sell 500 million units each, missing quarterly targets. Everyone is laid off.

They're not waiting on the Supreme Court to tell them they can ignore the clear, plain text of the 14th Amendment that everyone born in the US is a birthright citizenship. They are trying to erase the citizenship of anyone with skin darker than Stephen Miller's through administrative action alone.
“They’re denying that any of her birth certificates, which are from Laurel, Maryland, her records of immunization, medical records — they’re denying the authenticity of them. It is something I’ve never encountered.” www.huffpost.com/entry/us-cit...

"Something that I have found difficult for non-artists to understand is that the ‘early messy stuff’ that non-arty folks insist can be ‘fixed by a human artist later’ is where the best work is done."

True of every creative field. You can't start building halfway up; the foundation has to be sound.
We spoke to a dozen professional concept artists who are currently or have previously worked in game development about whether generative AI image tools have made their jobs any easier.

Zero said it did. Most said it made things harder.

Concept Artists Say Generative AI References Only Make Their Jobs Harder
“The ‘early ideation stages’, when worlds are being fleshed out by writers and artists, are literally crucial to the development of a game’s vision,” said one artist.

In addition to all the amazing work he did for Disney, Eddie Sotto designed the beloved Soap Box Racers at Knott’s. While looking for a photo of him, I stumbled upon his take on perfectionism, and it moved me to see how much he cared about the Guest experience. RIP Mr. Sotto, gone far too soon 💔

I didn’t know Eddie Sotto well. Maybe met one time, but I was always amazed by his incredible work. Such a talent! In recent years we became “email penpals” commiserating over the direction of Disney hotel design. Eddie will be missed. He left the world a better place.

Eddie Sotto seemed like an extraordinarily talented and kind guy. He was always generous with his time in engaging on Twitter and elsewhere and I enjoyed talking about Disneyland Paris with him. Thankful that his work will live on to entertain for generations to come. May his memory be a blessing.

Children are being exploited. Let’s respond by dramatically hindering our ability to point out or criticize children being exploited, using methods we don’t understand because we’re old and incurious.
Children are being exploited and abused because Big Tech consistently prioritizes profits over people.

Enough is enough. Time to sunset Section 230.

Although I knew this day was approaching, I still don’t know where to begin. Eddie had been signaling it to me in the most paradoxical, “Eddie” way…

A damning indictment of Ken Martin and Democratic Party leadership. Yes, the autopsy will piss people off (especially those who led the Biden and the Harris campaigns). That's the point. Their failures were catastrophic for the country. Dems also need to show voters they get it and are reforming.
NEWS: The DNC is killing off its 2024 autopsy.

DNC Chairman Ken Martin has decided not to publish a public report, believing that a backward-looking document would be counterproductive as the party has started winning.

the tea party was really a seminal shift in how the median congressperson behaved in person

you stopped needing to be a successful schmoozer and started needing to be a totally unreasonable lunatic to win your primaries, and social media has only accelerated this
My theory that as members of congress are increasingly batshit it will increasingly select for even more batshit people who can tolerate the job is doing pretty well

Muting a Black woman to claim the vote was unanimous is so incredibly on the nose
The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

FUCKING.
LEAD.
What I don't understand about this fixation some Dems have is that I thought the platform was Rights for All. Medicare for All. Justice for All. The idea that "All" should mean "All except for the ones that are problematic because it will offend some bigot and cost us a vote" is a very GOP position.
