I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.

This is important. It's also important to point out that sometimes you can cross that threshold without meaning to and that it's okay to stop when you realise the damage you're doing to yourself.

Michele is raising an excellent point in this thread. It's also important to note that you can be good at GMing and not enjoy doing it.
A couple of friends keep stating that the natural course for *every* TTRPG players is to eventually GM.
I really disagree. Not because there's some secret power there, nor time requirement. You can start as GM and do super well almost right away.
But it's not for everyone.
