Shoutout OXO. They just make incredibly high quality stuff. I have a set of canisters that are 10+ years, old and perfect condition.
No, can’t trust that. I use an Oxo canister and i’ll go long breaks without using it and it will be fine.

Exactly. A key lime pie is a custard in a crust. So are many many other pies. Cheesecake is no different. If forced into either class, it’s clearly a pie. A crust and no leavening agent. Cakes don’t have crusts and typically have leavening agent.
