I have so much to be thankful for — a loving family, amazing friends, a roof over my head, and food on the table — but seeing a commercial with Jimmy Fallon in it almost ruined my entire Thanksgiving

one fun thing about going home for the holidays is hearing my mom (a former ER nurse) tell me about every medical condition imaginable and scaring me into thinking I could drop dead any moment, then quickly pivoting to who’s going to make the cranberry sauce for tomorrow
