The older I've gotten, I find I'm just not bothered when a movie or performance that didn't land with me wins awards. The voters in these organisations, whether they total 100 people or 10,000, are not always going to align with my tastes and that's okay.

John Lasseter stole the idea and credit for Cars from Jørgen Klubien, an animator who was friends with Lasseter at CalArts and later Pixar, and booted Jørgen to script-writing before removing him from the film altogether.

30 years ago today, Toy Story was released in theaters. On top of being a great movie in itself, it's one of the very few movies in history like this that its impact forever changed not just animation, but the entirety of cinema. Even back in 1995, everyone knew that Toy Story was a game-changer.

Hoppers just downright looks hilarious as all hell. Like, I love the increasing lunacy as the trailer is implying. Mabel seems like a fun character, same with the scientists. This I'm really anticipating. Plus it helps it's directed by the creator of We Bare Bears.
