A Bluesky Exclusive Preview of Animation Lookback: Blue Sky Studios (Part 1)
Here's a heads up that I'll be streaming a new episode of What's in the Box? tomorrow at 4pm EST on Twitch. I got a fresh back of letters and packages to see what's in store and I'll have time to do an AMA if you have any questions you'd like to ask me.

There are only things in this world that have mastered the art of blending comedy with actual creepiness: Charles Addams comics and The Haunted Mansion.
Am I the only one that thinks this cartoon by Charles Addams (the guy who created the Addams family) is legitimately creepy?

This is exactly why you CAN'T let anyone off the hook. Including voters. They KNOW it's wrong and always knew it was wrong to vote for Trump and now we're gonna show em grace so they can vote for Vance or Rubio or whatever comes next? Foh
New polling data shows that it's getting increasingly embarrassing to identify as a Republican, and some Trump voters are slinking away and pretending it never happened.

If there's one thing bigger than the popularity of Butch Hartman's shows like The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom, it's his ego. I'd even say that it's bigger than the prices he's charging for his own event!
AINT NO FUCKING WAY LIKE????

Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict with getting a new car, I won't be able to livestream a new episode of AniMat's Crazy Cartoon Cast today. However, I will still do a recorded episode later this week. And yes...I will be talking about Hotel Transylvania 5. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I am shocked that we may have overlooked what could possibly AI’s biggest weakness: People will eventually get bored of it and don’t wanna play with it anymore.
Good news everyone.

This was heartbreaking to learn about today. Roger Allers was not only a director who brought us The Lion King and 2014's The Prophet, but also a key player of the Disney Renaissance. We sadly lost a true animation legend, and I hope he will never be forgotten.

Zootopia 2 has now surpassed Inside Out 2 at the box office and has become the highest-grossing American animated film of all time, only being behind Ne Zha 2. I had a feeling this was gonna be a big film, but even I'm amazed how quickly it broke the record in a short time.

I’ve never seen a big thread like this that is all dedicated to the absolute takedown of a person and how their legacy is just an illusion. If you got the time, check out this thread about John Lasseter and his impact (or lack of) in the animation industry

Kevin Schreck, the guy behind the documentary Persistence of Vision, is back with a new doc about the studio whose style dominated the 1950s, UPA. I'll say right now that fans of animation history should keep an eye out for this when it comes out later this year!

Even if they try, they can never get on the level of any Disney villain. Heck, ICE agents can’t even be as competent as Edgar Balthazar from The Aristocats. They’re as much of a failure to their country as The Confederacy.
He's right. Disney villains are awesome. ICE fascists suck.

I don't usually go and buy animation-related books (mainly because of how stupidly expensive they are nowadays), but I got myself these two that are pretty neat!

Sorry to do this again, but I'm giving myself another break from uploading a main video this week. Don't worry, I'll be back next week and, even though we're in the middle of winter, my next review will give us a summer break with the first ever straight-to-video animated movie in the US.

I had a little thought, and maybe a gag that I pulled with this might've had a little clumsy landing. I didn't mean to offend anyone with comparing conservatism with mental illness, as as it would give a bad name to the latter. I'll say now that I'm sorry if my post didn't come out of good taste.
I'm glad this happened to him because he's no longer tortured by his painful illness that is worse than the cancer that took his life.

I'm glad that Scott Adams is no longer suffering from conservatism, and may he find peace in his liberal afterlife.

Laika just unveiled a new look at Wildwood. It's crazy how it's been seven years since we last got to see a new film from them and I'm eager to see what they have in store with this. Also, curious who will distribute it for theaters too since we don't know yet.
