I patch up injured animals, raise orphaned baby critters, & grow a lot of plants. I also think most bugs are cool as hell.

I was serving food outside earlier & Morty did this insane fly by maneuver where he snatched a hunk of mashed sweet potatoes off my plate without ever actually landing on me. He earned those potatoes tbh. He ate them on top of my greenhouse.

#BirdoftheDay is #BerriesandBeaks and I think this Golden-browed Chlorophonia qualifies. These are amazing high-elevation birds that are usually elusive but are much easier when the fruits are ripe.

Lol, Zillow tried to rate the climate risks facing individual properties. The real estate industry *hated* it, precisely because it worked -- it made selling risky properties more difficult. So they rebelled & Zillow caved.

Don't look up!

I hadn’t seen any lizards bust in from outside to steal cat food in so long that I started thinking perhaps they forgot how. Nope! An old friend from a year ago let itself inside today

I'm really pleased that this set up worked. I turned everything more inward towards the tree trunk. I taped a piece of a box along the side & back to make an alcove, blocking line of sight, making them feel more secure from predators like owls. They visit every night now. #sqrlpix
