Cat, 48, lives in a 1950s 1 1/2 story Cape Cod in a fab college town where The Shakespearean Holiday Songbook Vol. 1 and Harrods 1895 Catalogue - two books she was reading while shipping imaginary people - sit on her floor. Refilling her creative well, like a Weird Al Yankovic song come to life.
Grace, 48, lives in a snug home in the middle of woods and The Moral Economy of the Peasant and Deer Hunting with Jesus—two books they were reading while plotting the most recent story—sit on a handmade oak dining table. She’s where she should be all the time, like a Carole King song come to life.
Laura, 69, lives in an annoying Mid-Century Modern bungalow in the heart of Outer Easthampton where the kitchen is smaller than the poorly-designed bathroom and _Giordano Bruno and the Hermetic Tradition_ and Fifty Years of Doonesbury_ - two books she was reading while avoiding the laundry -

When y'all buy from indie authors, it impacts us profoundly. Especially if it goes outside the circle of authors trading a few dollars back and forth amongst ourselves.
I expected to sell 200 copies in the first year in my wildest dreams and it’s wound up selling 4,000 in that time 🥹
