Curious what kind of traffic they get, why, and from whom? My last time at White House dot gov was to request a birth greeting for my daughter, a task seemingly assigned to Merrick Garland. The time before was White House dot com in middle school, which wasn’t what I expected it would be.
The White House launched a page on its website, titled the “Hall of Shame,” devoted to naming and shaming media outlets and reporters that publish stories President Trump disagrees with.

“Misleading. Biased. Exposed,” the site reads.

It is substantially less busy at the Town Center than it was on the day after Black Friday 2021 during the height of COVID. Wild.

i know house of cards is gauche now, but one of the first real "oh something is very wrong here" moments I had about the press was when the press was doing 'tee hee how naughty' bits about kate mara's character (the journalist at not-buzzfeed)
yep. also really can't overstate how much nuzzi is very much the product of an environment that rewards amoral ambition and frowns on people who sincerely believe anything

I know many of you fairly well, and every last one of you is going to end up buying this book, first for yourself and then for your friends. Save yourself some time and money by buying it now.
For those who enjoy ebooks on Kindle, it seems that 'Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire' is *massively* discounted today down to $1.99 in the US and £7.99 in the UK. Which feels like a pretty good deal really.

We’re also looking very strongly, very strongly at eliminating police siren sounds from songs that you might play in the car, and we’ll be saying much more about it in the next two weeks.

211. Having never really played a modern Assassin’s Creed, I loved Star Wars Outlaws. Maybe the mechanics and formula were trite to the genre familiar, but on its own merit, it was the best “hang out in Star Wars” game to date. I’d rather have an Outlaws 2 than a Fallen Order 3.

I would simply write my constitution down
oh Americans may not understand this, but a 'magistrate' in the UK is a local volunteer with typically no legal background. But it's ok, they receive about 10 days of training. And now they can send you to jail for two years without a jury!

Every day I wake up, look to the north and east, and behold The New Dumbest Idea in History being proposed by Labour. As an American, I don’t understand how the government and party haven’t imploded entirely yet.

haven’t seen ROS or Solo but this seems like a pretty ball-knowing list from Pritzker, particularly if he volunteered the name “Star Wars” rather than “A New Hope”

This feels like one of those stories you're going to look at a year from now and say to yourself, "Why didn't I move more of my portfolio into cash?" **
