this is very much not the core of the issue. we tolerate all sorts of biological advantages and disadvantages in sports. the real fundamental question here is: why is this one different than the others?

Maybe even more to the point, if this is an issue (and frankly, to a lot of people, it is), it’s one where the status quo ante actually has worked quite well for a long time.

Drew a Hound of Tindalos from a short story by Frank Belknap Long, released in a short story collection of his work in 1946.

The hounds are creatures that exist outside of time and space. They can emerge in the form of smoke from any angle of a certain sharpness, like the corner of a room.

Well said. The anti-trans movement is an anti-science movement.

This explains so much.
People with psychopathic traits and low cognitive ability are over-represented in online political activity.
If someone is being cruel, obnoxious and ridiculous, don't try to reason with them. Chances are you won't get anywhere. Just block.

"guestreservations dot com" is the worst site, they make a subdomain for every hotel so it's like name-of-hotel[.]guestreservations[.]com and they buy google ads so that they come up as the first result when you search for that hotel's name, and you mistakenly think it's the hotel's official website

I've literally tripped over my own foot before. Not a shoelace, my own foot.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.
