I'm sorry, you just made that up. Nobody thinks that way about our government when they say Democracy. We all know what it means, limited democratic democracy in a federal Republic with varying levels closer to direct democracy in smaller government units.
Nobody said that. You're trying to limit the word Democracy to that meaning, for reasons I don't understand except perhaps to play games.

As far as I can tell we both agree on the structure of our government and its virtues of avoiding man rule. Soni don't know what you are on about ultimately.
Who doesn't understand it? Everybody in the conversation understands how a republic works. We live in one. The only point of contention is whether that's a form of democracy, a wholly academic point.

The term "democratic republic" exists for a reason; you seem to him that's a contradiction.
The term "direct democracy" exists specifically to make the distinction you are trying to make and nobody thinks we live in a direct democracy.
Not at all. Democracy covers a broad range of structures which ultimately involve voting.

But even if you were right with your gotcha, what difference would it make to anything? That a bunch of protest signs are technically wrong?
That is still a form of democracy, making the semantic game not only moot, but wrong.

None of it matters except to small minded people who think they have a "gotcha."
People ought to be taught Fundamental Attribution Error outside of college courses.
Your definition of democracy is simplistic.

Democracy is not limited to direct, majority rule democracy.

Regardless of all this, the founders established a separation of powers and even the most monarchy-bent among them would be appalled at Trump's abuse of power and Congress's failure to act.
The minidisc era was not long, but I was all in.

I had a shoebox full of discs in the car that compromised most of my music collection.

Imagine having access to just about anything you wanted to hear! Ok, so we got that now, but I had that THEN.

And the aesthetics were top notch.

These things are extremely chill, you can stay near the edge if you're claustrophobic like me, and if the vibe starts to feel off, you bounce. Long haul, people. Do a few of these so you start to know what feels safe and what doesn't.
Friends, if you haven’t been to a normie protest before, please don’t let some nutters on the internet worry you that you’re going to be tear gassed and beaten, it will be fine. By all means be reasonably cautious, but this is not a black bloc event okay? It’s fine.
Somebody with a podcast that looks at the sociopolitical and socioeconomic aspects of past blockbusters ought to do an episode on this. *whistles*
It's meant to be a feature, so it can be tuned for the model. You can export just the STL and import.

An extra step, but easy.
If you follow an account who iin response to bad press for the GOP is to say "But Democrats..." then you should unfollow that account. Especially if they drag up old out of context material for it, or deliberately misrepresent something.

Wittingly or not that poster works against your interest.
The Eighth Doctor audio stories are better than 95% of anything televised.

I've printed out about 120 of these that Mrs Mouse will be distributing.
I just 3D printed dozens of alert whistles. Mrs. Mouse has been patrolling schools.
