Hey. This is a message out there to all of you who, in trying to create a tribute to our children, choose to use AI. When you feed these images into AI, you're feeding their data set. That means they will now use little pieces of Abel and Maya and the others the next time someone asks for the image of a 12 year old. While most companies are trying their best, some of them aren't; a few weeks back, Grok was freely and cheerily offering up images of naked, underage children. This is horrifying. I know that some people out there are trying to create clickbait images, but not you. You're trying to show your respect and love, but could we ask you do it in a different way? There are actual provided images of most of the victims out there; sharing those is equally as powerful and less dicey, morally. The RCMP even created a composite for you. Thanks.

The MacBride Museum in the Yukon was expanded a few year ago. The new building’s cantilevered roof hangs over the 126 year old Telegraph Building, which served as the museum since the 1950s.

"AI is inevitable"
A post from the reddit analytics forum: We just found out our AI has been making up analytics data for 3 months and I’m gonna throw up. Support So we’ve been using an AI agent since November to answer leadership questions about metrics. It seemed amazing at first fast answers, detailed explanations, everyone loved it. I just found out it’s been hallucinating numbers this entire time. Our VP of sales made territory decisions based on data that didn’t exist. Our CFO showed the board a deck with fake insights. The AI was just inventing plausible sounding percentages. I only caught it by accident when someone asked me to double check something. I started digging, and holy shit, it’s bad. The numbers were sometimes from the wrong time periods, sometimes mixed up products and sometimes just completely made up. But it explained everything so confidently that nobody questioned it. Now we have to review every Q4 decision. Legal is involved. People might get fired. The worst part I raised concerns about needing validation in November and got told I was slowing down innovation. Tell me someone else has dealt with this. How do you even fix something like this? I’m panicking.
