I’m thrilled that Dick Van Dyke made it to 100 years old, and I also find it hilarious that he’s apparently too old to play with LEGO. Him specifically.😆

It’s unbelievable that for all the wondrous inventions of modern science we still haven’t found a way to kill Dick Van Dyke

Being in Europe makes me sympathetic for Europeans on social media. Things here are dead most of the day and then I log on when I get up in the morning to find a whole flurry of activity occurred while I was sleeping.

Good thing I’m on my way home so I can be part of that flurry again. USA! USA!

Seeing Jedi on opening night and everyone absolutely losing their shit when Darth Vader through the emperor off the catwalk.

Or seeing Misery in Worcester, MA and the audience going nuts when she said the author was born in Worcester.

Or Terminator 2 in 70mm while high as balls.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Against my own rule, I had my phone open while having an amazing meal at a Portuguese restaurant with Amy and Nora. Got 10600 in the TM queue, no chance. Shit show. I shut it off. Ten seconds later my brother texted me. #450. Scored two three-day passes. I’m going to the Sphere, baby!

Jim’s handy travel tip: when planning a train trip between European cities, if you want to know exactly which routes to take, stops to get off and on, the history of the line and equipment, and seats facing the direction of travel inbound and outbound, get yourself an autistic child. So helpful.
