@jenleepa.bsky.social and I watched “Fight or Flight” (aka “Bullet Plane”) and “Bride Hard” (which is a weird mashup of “Spy” and “Bridesmaids”). Neither is very good. But at least the Bridesmaids felt like they were trying to be funny on purpose.

What it’s like living in a small town: I have seen the mayor at three funerals and a wedding this week. This morning, he leaned in and said, “We have to stop running into each other. People will talk.” All three funerals this week have been for friends. Including the husband of my first crush.
