Don't forget the U.S. history of "No Irish/Italians, etc. need apply" There is always someone for the hateful to blame and discriminate against. We all need to rise up and support everyone to prevent this from happening.

I sometimes get asked is there an asteroid that is going to hit Earth that astronomers know about but haven't told the public. My answer is always no. Astronomers get the word out. We talk to each other and the public. So there's no secret keeping.
