I'm not saying David Zaslav is responsible for the fact that the Warner archive dvd of THE SPLIT i bought was actually a mislabeled/ packaged dvd of Rose-Marie, but let's just say I'm suspicious.

Revealed!! I’m so excited to reveal my first collab with @arrowvideo.bsky.social & couldn’t be happier for it to be for a horror by one of my absolute favorite directors: @thehorrormaster.bsky.social IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS. Huge thanks to @neilsnowdon.bsky.social for inviting me to illustrate this!

Happy Birthday to me! Officially entering my 40s, and honestly feeling way better about how I look and feel at 40 than I would have thought. Positive vibes for the next decade.

I am old enough to remember when a movie character said "PAPERS PLEASE" it was a universally understood signifier of an evil regime
A co-worker of mine (who is a judge), traveled by train from Montana to North Dakota for work this week. The train made a stop in Havre, MT, where ICE agents—armed and dressed in full military-style tactical gear—boarded the train.

The last ticket price I saw for Kid Rock was $12, and I agree that is WAAAAAAAY too much.

In 1970, John Boorman of Zardoz fame wrote a film treatment of LotR.

It is a STINKER of a film, although there are some legitimately interesting ideas tucked into it.

I read it so you won't have to!

A🧵 of the best and worst pieces of John Boorman's LORD OF THE RINGS SCREENPLAY.

Don't forget the U.S. history of "No Irish/Italians, etc. need apply" There is always someone for the hateful to blame and discriminate against. We all need to rise up and support everyone to prevent this from happening.
And for the other groups that think aligning with white supremacist rhetoric will protect you? If we disappeared tomorrow you would be next up. White supremacy hates everyone including other white people

1. Please call or email and share your stories about how the current administration’s actions are hurting or will hurt you personally. The Senators can use these human stories to persuade those /1

I've never been more disappointed in Space. All them asteroids and it can't find one to throw at us?
I sometimes get asked is there an asteroid that is going to hit Earth that astronomers know about but haven't told the public. My answer is always no. Astronomers get the word out. We talk to each other and the public. So there's no secret keeping.

As someone who walks through crowded areas like Godzilla through Tokyo I agree.
John Fetterman’s a disgrace to the oaf community. He does not represent America’s lumbering buffoons, ham-fisted galoots, or men whose heavy footsteps are soundtracked by a tuba.

I've always said Humanity is unprofitable.
The $82.5 million sale of "Hot Ones" studio First We Feast is part of a broader strategy at BuzzFeed to shift away from human editors, writers and content producers in favor of artificial intelligence, which result in "high-margin, tech-enabled revenue lines."

The company said the sale will allow it to depend less on human-created content in favor of "high-margin, tech-enabled revenue lines."
