if your story on Elon musk's robots doesn't mention the very real possibility that thus is all stock fluffing vaporware somewhere in the first four paragraphs you are not doing journalism
Elon Musk says Optimus will be an 'incredible surgeon'
Musk said Optimus could become an"infinite money glitch" capable of driving Tesla's profits to new heights.

smh. got an entire administration that is operating off of memes and conspiracy theories
EPA Commissioner Lee Zeldin announces his agency is launching a major investigation into the right-wing conspiracies about chemtrails and weather manipulation to get to the bottom of it.

I keep going back to this exchange, and I think it’s relevant, here. It is inconceivable to people with power that anyone would be willing to fight and die for something when there’s no guarantee of winning.
Oh who could have seen this coming
Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups has been arrested by the FBI for alleged illegal gambling, sources tell ESPN.

Lmao
SCOOP: Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner apologized for homophobic language and antigay slurs he admitted to writing on Reddit in an interview with me this afternoon, after I confronted him on comments I discovered from as recently as 2021.

Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner admits using ‘indefensible’ antigay slurs in unearthed Reddit posts
"Today I find that stuff abhorrent," Platner told The Advocate. "And I am sorry that I ever used it.”

It’s also not lost on me that there’s a lot of white folks saying democrats don’t speak on certain topics & don’t message well who seem to ignore the people of color in Congress who clearly are speaking on those topics.

But it’s before 7am and I’m trying not to start shit today
Criticism of Dems is definitely warranted. But it seems to be blanket. There are clearly outspoken democrats speaking on these things. There’s also idiots like Fetterman. And then Schumer and Jeffries are two HORRID leaders.

But let’s not mistake that for all
Also are we confusing the media having a narrow view on what they report with what is actually being said.
So I’m beginning to wonder if when you all say this do you just mean Dem leaders. Specifically Schumer and Jeffries. Because it’s very clear there are several congressional democrats saying these things. They’re doing interviews. On social media. It’s there
“The president demolished the White House.”

“The president politicized the FBI and DOJ to go after his opponents.”

“The president is why life is more expensive today.”

“The president was besties with Epstein.”

Messaging isn’t hard and makes you wonder why Dems aren’t saying this every day.
Not gonna lie. When I see Bernie Sanders is all in on someone, I gotta do a double take cause I don't trust that man's judgement AT ALL.

Bernie has bad judgment in people and it has gotten considerably worse in the past couple years.
because they don't actual mean it. It's just an easy justification for them for whatever dumb thing they want to say

meanwhile Platner looks and sounds EXACTLY like the type of politician that would end up voting for the same shit these folks are against
Also....if I was 10 times dumber maybe I could see the logic here on face value but uhhhh...Blackwater and it's subsidiaries aren't exactly "peace keeping missionaries" .

One of the main reasons guys like Platner and Fetterman get so overhyped, whether or not they turn out to be massive chodes, is because of certain people breathing a sigh of relief that they can stay in their comfort zone of voting for a white man while still maintaining a façade of progressivism.
Because there's something about a person with this level of degeneracy and baggage going "yeah but EYE am the person to run for office" with no internal self reflection that is just 100% turn off. It literally means you care more about yourself and position than the greater good
Like seriously guys. Is it too much to ask that we have people that aren't fucking stupid running the country?

I'm not asking for a lot. Or at least I didn't think i was. Maybe I am.
2. And honestly, this is almost the bigger issue because the bar is so goddamn low for politicians: Running for Senate with a Nazi tattoo and not getting it covered up and being prepared to deal with that fall out is just FUCKING STUPID. You're literally too fucking stupid to be in office
1. Having a Nazi tattoo should be disqualifying. Period. It doesn't just show poor decision making. Getting a Nazi tattoo at any point is a level of degeneracy we don't need in public office. We got enough of that.

Go do something good with your life. Public office ain't it
So here's the thing. I'm not even trying to debate whether Platner actually holds nazi beliefs or not. Because it's irrelevant.

"So no one at his sister's wedding recognized that tattoo and had serious questions?"
"So...what did his family think the first time they saw the tattoo? And I'm to believe NONE of them recognized it as a Nazi tattoo?"
