For the first time since a 34-0 loss to the Packers in 2007, the Vikings have been shut out.

They fall 26-0 to the Seahawks, losing for the sixth time in their last seven trips here. Max Brosmer became the first Vikings QB to throw 4 INTs in a game since Joshua Dobbs in 2023.

The #Vikings have six points in their last seven quarters.

(And yes, my mind went there, too. I have a middle schooler at home.)

UMD men have the second most wins in college hockey with 12.

One more win to tie last year's win total of 13

Upcoming this week is a matchup against the defending national champion Western Michigan. Shall be a fun series at Lawson.

Articles like this are interesting for a few reasons:

1) Hockey is a white, wealthy sport. Few minorities are playing it because it just not a sport they are interested in. Plus with how expensive it is compared to other sports, it's cost prohibiative.

Shifting demographics changed legendary power Johnson, like other city programs. Now a co-op based at Highland Park carries the banner for the whole city.

The bar has been set for UMD next year. Gotta win to match Miami.

(that's hard to believe but Miami is much better this year than prior years)

Good points here.
Folk who think Walz is DFL’s best shot in 2026 should realize he may be among the worst. Sure, it’s the New York Times, but the headline “How Fraud Swamped Minnesota’s Social Services System on Tim Walz’s Watch” crystallizes how Ds can’t depend on GOP failure forever. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/29/u...

1 of the fundamental reasons the AR-15 is so common isn't that it's a particularly lethal gun (it isn't), but that it's a. cheap (thanks, military industrial complex) and b. reliable. he basically solved firearms, with klashnikov's effort a valiant 2nd place. it's basically the honda civic of rifles
I always love these "Eugene Stoner's perfect instrument of death has found its way to the hands of foreigners" stories. It's a perfect weapon and available in sporting good stores. That'll happen.

There's an IRA song called "Me Little Armalite" that's like fifty years old, and it is super catchy.

Straight up war crime
Every single congressional Democrat needs to be out there, right now, insisting that Pete Hegseth resign right now and announcing that he will be held accountable for committing war crimes.

If you do not demand accountability here and now, they will only become more emboldened.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

They named him Victor because it was short for "Victory"

Zam and Max said that he was the best hockey player of all three of them...which seems like something a brother would say but not necessarily true. Maybe it was after all!
Speaking of Victor Plante … he had two goals, including the Super OT game winner in the CHL-USA Prospects Challenge last night.
