Most bowls are owned and operated by ESPN to fill TV slots.
Bowls are annoying. Who you are, the fans you bring, or your proximity to the bowl shouldn’t matter. I honestly don’t think they’ll last much longer as teams and players opt out and transfer and all that.
They exist to fill mid Dec weeknights. Give me a better, longer season or an extended playoff

The Cowboys did something useful with their practice facility: they made it useful for the whole community. I've been inside (my dad knew someone who worked in the hotel and gave us a look inside, hehe) and it's GORGEOUS.
