Taken with the news of Operation Lone Star increasing police drones too and we’re going to see US skies buzzing with these like a war zone.
NEW: CBP is doubling down on a surveillance strategy built around small, human-portable drones, pushing border enforcement toward a distributed surveillance network that can operate in harsh climes and mixed terrain to rapidly cue agents.
Border Patrol Bets on Small Drones to Expand US Surveillance Reach
Federal records show CBP is moving from testing small drones to making them standard surveillance tools, expanding a network that can follow activity in real time and extend well beyond the border.

Biden also tried to appoint one of the most progressive telecom and media reformers (Gigi Sohn) in agency history and had the nomination blocked by Joe Manchin, Mark Kelly, and Catherine Cortez Masto
Biden nominated Carr to remain a member of the FCC because he believed Carr's longstanding statements of support for an independent FCC focused on preserving freedom of expression on the airwaves were truthful, and not fraudulent.
They were fraudulent.
KIM: I want to read you a quote & see if you agree with it. 'Congress long ago determined that the FCC is an independent expert agency.' Is that correct?

CARR: Senator, there has been a sea change in the law & approach since I wrote that sentence

KIM: Yes you did. You said it in front of Congress

This tracks with my experience. DHS made up stories like this in Chicago, too. Every story ICE told about being attacked by community members was debunked in court. To assume anything they say is even potentially credible is irresponsible and out of touch with reality.
Re: the ICE actions in south Minneapolis Monday. DHS said "rioters" attacked officers with rocks and pepper spray. Note: I received lots of evidence and didn't see any rocks, the only pepper spray I saw was ICE agents sometimes spraying each other. I did see snow and possibly ice being thrown. (1)
