Every fiber of my conscious and subconscious mind is screaming that something horrific is coming down the line. Aside from the terrible things we are already seeing every day in the streets of this country and wherever it has influence overseas. Never felt anything like it before.

I just don't feel like this is going to be a normal or typical authoritarian state. I think it is going to be something much worse. Perhaps that feels like fearmongering to some, or cynicism. But my gut has not steered me wrong yet and I am listening to it on this regardless of what others think.

I am not sure how I will be able to pay for my horse's board if I am in a heavily sanctioned country with no way to transfer money, but I am thinking about the possibility of starting a Patreon or YouTube since my horse is in America and I would never need the dollars in the Islamic Republic

i cannot get over how quickly this is happening. the decline of the other two branches/ascent of the lawless executive is outpacing actual democratic decline, which is usually what precipitates executive consolidation. but in our case, the other two branches are collaborators

What an offensive statement from so-called historians. There have been others who have been chased out of the country. Mohamed Abdou was deported for his teaching about Gaza…and he was a prof AT COLUMBIA! But he was queer, Muslim, brown & untenured. Do only white straight tenured profs get sympathy?
