people think it's sweet to read their parents' old love letters but imagine someone in 2060 reading texts from when their parents were dating where mom sent a pic of her boobs & got back "🍆🍆🍆" & a dick pic from dad - and after 7 hours with no response he drops a "you up?" 9 months before their birth

We are now further away from the theatrical release of Raiders of the Lost Ark (June 12, 1981) than it was from the year it takes place in (1936). We have reached the Indiana Jones event horizon.

This Hallmark movie takes place in the SoNoPo (South of North Pole) neighborhood in NYC. A tow truck driver and a snow plow are engaged but then she (snow plow) goes back to MN and falls in love with a man at a Christmas tree farm with an 10 mile long driveway.

Matt really has become one of my favorite meteorologists for giving us what the truth in local weather looks like.
Snow math for the Twin Cities Saturday:

0.25”-0.35” of moisture
X
13-15:1 snow ratio
=
3.25”-5.25”, rounded to a 3”-5” forecast

Please talk to your grand/parents about how much they spend on their healthcare under Medicare and their limited networks.

At a clinic meeting 20(!!) years ago where the business people were talking to us about how a clinic visit w/ rent/elec/front desk staff cost $72/visit and MC paid us $57.
MEDICARE FOR ALL IS POPULAR: “A new poll finds 65% of voters support a Medicare for All system. That includes 78% of Democrats, 71% of independents, and 49% of Republicans.”

Making a broken system less bad is not enough. #MedicareForAllNow

@roni1133.bsky.social HLOTS on physical media is a must.
Oh God, apparently they replaced "Super Bon Bon" in the "Strangers and Other Partners" episode of Homicide with something generic. Here's the part from the opening of the episode as it should be (there's also a reprise of the song later in the episode). I forgot the World Trade Center was in this.

If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

An obviously demented Ronald Reagan was in office for 3 years, the GOP isn't going to take a stand now 30 years later.
