As a matter of fact, after the neurologist I saw showed me that nothing physical was going on, he was quick to tell me that I needed to get rid of the man, the job or both 😂

Then closer to them moving out, the migraines stopped completely.

So yes, take your ass to the doctor and get the tests done AND ALSO manage your stress and take care of your mind.

Like last year, I suddenly started getting migraines around the time [redacted]’s people moved in. No change in diet or exercise. I saw my doctor, who referred me to another one, got an EEG and MRI and found nothing but they put me on medication to help since nothing else did

Along with going to the doctors office as often as possible, I need people to understand the basics of psychophysiology (mind-body connection). Something stressing you out in your environment could actually manifest into physical symptoms and/or cause actual issues

Advocate for yourself and your loved ones in medical spaces! Don't let medical professionals ignore you or downplay your concerns. Ask for refusals of care to be added to your chart. Seek 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinions if you have to. Listen to your body and intuition when you feel something is wrong.

The entire incident is infuriating and terrifying. She’s a Latina woman who was working a service job. On her way home late at night, with her headphones in, she was detained for an hour by masked federal agents who wouldn’t give her their names.

Maria Greeley, 44, had just finished working a double shift at the Beach Bar on Ohio Street
earlier this month when she said she was surrounded by three federal agents who grabbed her, forced her hands behind her back and zip tied her.
Headphones in, Greeley had been focused on getting home to her two dogs for a walk.
Instead, she said she was detained by masked agents who did not answer when she asked for names. They questioned her for an hour, she said.
