As others have said, the Immaculate Conception is MARY being conceived without Original Sin so she could be a vessel for Jesus.
Also, Mary was not asked for consent. She was told. She says shit like I'm God's servant, let it be done to me as he wills' but that was after she was TOLD by an angel.

You would really think people would have an easier time remembering that The Immaculate Conception of Mary is when Mary was conceived, not when Jesus was conceived, given that it takes place like two weeks before Christmas and not in March.
