Investigating LAPD-press incidents in Los Angeles on Saturday. No doubt LAPD violated court injunction. Just a question of how bad.

So far I think only minor injuries to press. Still confirming. Not a passing grade regardless.

For sure some of the legacy media outlets are downplaying the protests because they’re aligned with Trump, but I think an even bigger factor is how many elite journalists have a patrician disdain for the idea that politics can happen in the streets and not just the CNN green room.

Updated this story after Colombian President Gustavo Petro confirmed the surviving Colombian national had been returned home and also accused the U.S. of violating Colombia's sovereignty when it destroyed a fishing boat on Sept. 16 (the third announced U.S. strike in the Caribbean).
