Still angry after all these years

You misspelled "mortal coil". Heres to hoping we see him gone sooner rather than later.
You misspelled "wrong"
If the prophecies of religion have not been fulfilled, then it is incomplete. That’s just logic.
The thing about supremacist thought is that anyone that disagrees with you shouldn't be listened to by definition. There is nothing that an outsider can say to change their mind. In-group cant change bc the second they doubt their supremacy, they cease to be in-group.

I'm going to use the zombie analogy again:

If you want us to survive the apocalypse -

1) we can't let people in the safe house who WANT to open the door to the zombies

2) the person who arbitrarily says we need to give up some of us to save the others also can't stay in the safehouse.
And the rest wanna move here and join him.
Who cares what they actually believe? All we can know is what they do. Let God, the Universe or whatever Being deal with what they have in their heart. All we have is what they do.
Thats an insult to weasels and meth. Weasels and meth have positive uses/points. Mike Johnson has none.

if you know who those women were, no you don't
“Two federal agents said they had been in the process of arresting a 46-year-old man in a parking lot when two women ‘approached and began striking them both in the head,’ police said.

The man and the two women then fled the area on foot, officials said, and entered a nearby residence.”

It’s been quite the journey for Republicans!

They literally can’t comprehend that people are *this* upset and angry.

Keep standing up. Keep speaking out.

It's working.

Not surprised you have that profile picture and that opinion. Rogers Park, Lincoln Park or Mt. Greenwood are my top three guesses.
McCain is genuinely that clueless tho. She may not get it at all. She managed to fuck up the easy media life she was handed bc she couldn't control her most dickish impulses. She didnt even think her behavior was a problem.

my woke take is that entirely too many people feel entitled to the benefits of a social contract while not feeling bound by the responsibilities of said contract
Thats a better explanation than what most of the media is offer. You at least acknowledge its shit. The "brown liquid" crowd can fuck off forever.
"At all times, in public places..." requiring people to do that is the issue. All people, all of the time. Thats not a reasonable expectation. There is science behind doing it, sure. But that misunderstands (whats left of) public health.
They dont have the courage of an ant.
I was curious what you thought of this. I love Mel Brooks. When Spaceballs came out, I was disappointed. I was admittedly comparing it to Blazing Saddles. Not half bad is about what it is.

and another thing: he’s not mad. please don’t put it in the newspaper that he got mad.
Anyone who was out in the masses will tell you what it does. It gives you hope. You cannot be in that sea of humanity and not be moved. Cynicism is not always needed. The crowds were joyful in Chicago. That joy matters.

Something maybe worth noting is that all the frog costumes and signs and good-natured memeing came about because a wide spectrum of Americans saw someone in direct, brave confrontation with ICE—getting pepperballed and standing their ground—and thought “that’s awesome. That person is a hero”

I did not know it was possible for this many people to exist in one place in Evanston
#NoKings rally & protest in Fountain Square, Evanston, IL. October 18, 2025. Was it amazing, beautiful, inspiring? Yes. Indivisible Illinois!

Got to be honest, the No Kings protests by us are featuring lots of great signs, lots of people masking, lots of white people protecting their racialized neighbors, and I love it. Seeing community care rocks. And seeing people openly condemning not just Trump, but white supremacy, makes me hopeful.
Thats a very big deal. His mobility on D will be missed. (And its not like he's THAT mobile.)
