Never forget what they took from you
That’s literally your point but I get why that embarrasses you.

Stop trying to keep me up with your slapstick comedy
Again supersessionism is distinct and blatantly disavowed by Jesus.

And the Torah literally regulates keeping slaves. Not sure how you party but no we don’t ritualistically kill animals to atone for our sins every day.

good night you dumb fuck
wild thing to say after you said you were “just asking questions”

can’t believe the grift you’re running here with these marks but congrats I guess
You certainly did if the only penance they give someone is prayer.
LOL, those are clearly distinct concepts. Being unable to distinguish them is purely your skills issue. You can google “principle of fulfillment Old Testament” or something similar if you aren’t as bad faith as you seem
I’m going to bed so I’m going to let the notion that doing away with things like animal sacrifice and slavery, just like I said the Jews also did for different reasons, is somehow antisemitic LOL
gee guess it’s wrong when penance is prayer
I'm saying reciting prayers is not atoning for a wrong done against your fellow, and that atoning through prayer alone directly contradicts the intention of the law as well as the letter.
But it might lead to the spiritual change that does. Yet you say it can’t, even though in some cases it does. Because you are a bigot who thinks Christian priests can’t be right when their penance is prayer because you are offended by the principle of fulfillment despite its honoring of Jewish law.
Ah yes it was literal, you are very smart!
“No one is saying they can’t but they can’t if they do that way I don’t like” LOL

GEE WHY WOULD ANYONE CALL YOU A BAD FAITH BIGOT?

Christians disagree with you because of the principal of fulfillment.
I’m just telling you what words mean.
I’m gonna need more than “everyone has a different opinion.” I have asked over and over again to tell me two sects in the Christian faith that have different principles of fulfillment rather than different applications of the same principle.
So you read the first sentence, you got so upset you quite clearly didn’t read the second. Excellent work.
You obviously don’t understand the principle. Jesus could have said to supplant it, but He went to extreme lengths to honor it while moving away from harmful rituals and practices that no longer served their purpose. Jews don’t do a lot of them, too, for different reasons.
And prayers are included in penance. Often the only penance given.

You think priests can’t figure out what they are doing when they do that.

Bigot.
“My contention”

It’s the principle of fulfillment, a central tenet of Christianity. You disagree with it … cool. I didn’t make it up.
I begged people to give me an example of this to prove me wrong. I really thought someone would come up with something. But they can’t — pretty sure because Jesus expressly refutes it.

There’s only one broad principle of fulfillment, with minor differences in application re: which specific laws.
