The National Guard shouldn’t be deployed in DC but FFS, THEY ARE NOT THE BAD GUYS. They aren’t an enemy. They are doing a stupidly conceived assignment that most of them would rather not be doing. My wishes, right now, are for the two Guardsmen shot today make a full recovery as soon as possible. 🙏

Too much of the healthcare industry is publicly-traded or private equity companies that have an imperative to max profits by any means that prolly won’t carry a prison sentence. That imperative is close to collapsing the system (incl employer-based & Medicare/Medicaid), with or w/out subsidies.

None of the GOP appointees consider 13, 14, or 15 to be 100% real amendments. More like 60% if you know what I mean.
Nelson and KBJ are finally to the point where they're arguing thta the 15th Amendment doesn't have a *time limit* and the Voting Rights Act is just the mechanism to make the 15th Amendment work.

But he is One Special Boy and we appear to no longer be a serious country interested in the rule of law or the Constitution.
