#otd 1939 the Graf Spee engaged by HMS Ajax, Exeter and HMNZS Achilles off the River Plate.
Critically the Graf Spee also suffered damage which limited her seaworthiness and she was forced to put in to Montevideo for repairs. From that moment on she was doomed.

Played #7DTRR on Tuesday eve with @andycrow.bsky.social, Jack and Phil. I'd clearly forgotten how bad my Danes were equipped (I had a vague memory of the previous game we played being quite close and thought they were better than they are...)

Had a nice afternoon putting some Lard veterans through their first run of CoC2 set in Crrte. The Fallschirmjager overcame a tough start, to push round the right flank and break the doughty Kiwis defence. Terrain and miniatures courtesy of Rob, dodgy umpiring by me. #SpreadTheLard
