A reminder that those who took for granted that Trump victory would be the end of Ukraine were wrong. Ukraine continues to hold Ru off despite the fact that Trump ended US aid. Ukraine has innovated and developed its military capacity, Europe has stepped up, and Ru is weaker than many assume.

I hate this shit. Canada is not your exit strategy, it is not your saviour. What makes anybody think that Canada wants to absorb any level of the toxic BS that courses through the US.

I'll be honest...this is not a Cold War headline I figured I'd ever read.
I've been here when it was still a burnt-out mess. Had a guide, helmet, lantern, and hi-viz. It was rough inside, and the ground underfoot uneven cos of swirls of melted, then re-hardened, glass - but at least I didn't have to contend with emus.
