I get that the point of microblogging is that we aren't all writing essays, but who decided 300 was a reasonable limit?

The fact the character limit on alt text is so much higher seems an admission that you can't reliably express much in 300.

Sigh. I reposted the last post three times and still have an error in it. Because I'm out of Adderall and Bluesky ridiculously refuses to have an edit post function.

The Mastodon version had to be altered multiple times, but at least I didn't have to keep deleting it until I gave up.

I can see SNOW from my house!

There's a dusting visible from my front deck. I expect there's a decent amount on the ridge behind me, but all I can see from the back deck is mist.

At my house itself, there are snowflakes coming down, but it's mostly rain.
