the ingenuity of people in the past always impresses me. It wasn't aliens, it was humans doing incredible things utilizing any and every tool at their disposal. For all our flaws, we do some cool stuff sometimes.

The weird thing about blocking is it is treated like this act of Online Violence when in a lot of situations as a big account haver, blocking is like the only rational response that doesn't invite harassment against the person you're dealing with

The only reasonable position is that this technology should not be used or deployed under any circumstance by anybody for any purpose, because the makers of this technology are actively working to make any kind of normal assessment of risks and opportunities impossible.
