Helellial ben Shaharizel's ethics are basically "more power for me, fuck you." He gets a borderline sexual thrill over being able to get away with terrible things, the more vulnerable the target the better.

Aaron is, officially, the heir to the house of Abdiel (this is transparently false and nearly downright impossible, but he's got a magic sword that puts him on the level of a walking nuke and the Abdielites really, REALLY want him pointed toward their enemies so they give him a lordship)
