OK we're there! A conversation with @stewarthome.bsky.social is such a cultural encyclopedia-meets-rollercoaster, there was so much to look up.... as ever no-questions free subs for anyone on low income or in education, just DM, but obviously support if you can.

* Doctor quietly slips ticket for Pagliacci The Clown back into desk drawer*
Actively researched "What happens when you put milk in the sodastream?" Spent three hours cleaning the kitchen ceiling.
What’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever done? I don’t mean “cheating on your partner” stupid, I mean stupid stupid. Like, once, I had this bubble bath which smelled absolutely delicious, so I took a big glug of it. That kind of stupid. (It did not taste delicious.)
Licked the end of an operating soldering iron to clean some flux off it.

No one in this scenario was furiously overstyled though.
I was once feeling quite depressed on a bus, and I looked out the bus window to a rainy windswept shop doorway where I saw a gull corner a pigeon then grab the pigeon's head in its beak and snap its neck, then walk away.
Labradoodle here exhibiting the strange proportions that have led me to believe they are just people dressed up in dog costumes.
These dogs were spotted taking a group photo in their Halloween costumes. We're impressed by the dog walker's dedication to getting the shot, but that ghost definitely wishes he could actually disappear. 14/10 for all (TT: franklinbarkzoo)
Lukewarm water? Lukewarm? LUXURY.

A window cleaner once earnestly explained to my ex-wife, while standing outside on a fourth floor window ledge, that gravity was a conspiracy by the CIA and before the conspiracy humans used to be able to fly. He was also into crypto.

In the 1600s, Prince Rupert of the Rhine, a nephew of Charles I of England, won a bet about whether a tunnel can be cut through a cube to allow another cube of equal size to pass through. Today, mathematicians study this “Rupert property” in many shapes. www.quantamagazine.org/first-shape-...
IIRC Jason had also been dumped by a woman, who chose Richard Ashcroft over him, which would explain a lot of the pain evident in the album.
It's OSB rather than chipboard, if it's OSB/4 it is designed for loadbearing & wet/humid conditions, plus it's most likely also treated for the kitchen use. It's not a material choice I would make, but the council building control won't have signed off the building if it was failing that easily
I had a Henry in my last flat and I grew to hate it. Yes, it did suck, but it was bulky and hard to store, awkward, noisy, tipped over rather than rolled. #teamMiele

It's lower sugar than full fat Coke, but still about 60 cal per can.
"Lunch at my desk" vs "interact with colleagues". I can't win here Stephen
I have to use a PC at work and I hate Windows 11 with a heat that could melt ceramic. I would rather get a refurbed Mac than have to use Windows. (Not that MacOs isn't flawed, but it's still so much better).
Now I need to know what treasure your daughter has discovered!
