I did a deep dive on the State Dept’s designations of four “Antifa” groups.

State doesn’t even allege that they have targeted Americans or the U.S.

3 of them don’t appear to be Antifa.

The 1 that is Antifa was designated in part for fighting neo-Nazi groups, which haven’t been designated.
The State Dept's designations of Antifa undermine claims that the mvmnt poses a significant terrorist threat to Americans, counterextremism expert @tomjoscelyn.bsky.social writes

So they finished taking out Trump's name from the files and he'll claim it's Russiagate all over again and the Dems will fold because they always fold and oh my god my brain is poisoned
You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

National level Democrats would much rather lose to Nazis and fascists then have anyone left of them win that is going to be important to remember as neoliberalism continues to go catabolic. The democrats are telling you that they will side with fascists every time over anyone else.
this is just a wild thing to tweet a week after democrats won a statewide in Georgia by 20 points. completely divorced from the current electoral environment

How do you suppose the NYPD interprets @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social leaving 1 Police Plaza to its current leader? As a reasonable gesture that shows he's someone the police can do business with? Or as a de Blasio-esque surrender that shows Mamdani is starting out afraid to challenge the NYPD?

Bush, Obama, and Biden all paved the way.
Awful: Trump's boat bombings are now being justified by a new legal memo that relies on WH's own determinations as evidence. Memo also says people can't be prosecuted for the killings. But that reveals WH knows there's legal vulnerability here, Ds tell me.

Lol i was wondering when NYT reporters/editors would start circling the wagons. Pretty quick it turns out!
The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.

The top story on NYT right now is "Trump re-opens government"
Chat, is it good when you’re being ruled by an increasingly senile monster, so depraved he’s described by his pal, Jeffrey “Child Molester” Epstein, as “evil beyond belief”?

Why again did the NYT sit on all of this?
Wow.

Jeffrey Epstein writing about Trump in 2018:

"He feels alone and is nuts!!! I told everyone from day one. Evil beyond belief. Mad, and most thought I was speaking metaphorically. It's obvious he could crack. Stormy Daniels? Lies after lies after lies."
