Hello.

An eater of foods, taster of wines, rider of bicycles, dispenser of Bespeisungswonne, spectator of rugby, listener to music, watcher of films & reader of books. Not necessarily in that order. Many, many shoes.

He/him, cishet, 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈 ally.
Terrific win for Scarlets this evening, nilling Glasgow, even at home, is no mean feat. Properly cheered me up, Lord knows I needed it.

Da iawn bois!

For those living in #Wales a very urgent message from #WelshBloodService appealing for blood donors. Lives are saved by blood donors - I had to have 2 blood transfusions during my cancer treatment & will be always grateful to the donors.
Please share.

Okay, here we go.

Health & care staff are no longer allowed a Covid booster, but they're still expected to look after COVID+ patients.

NHS/govt is reneging on its duty of care. Staff will become unwell, and patients too will suffer.

You know what to do

Wow - this guy must be really, REALLY bad with money if an extra £208 per month will “ruin” his retirement.

Let’s take a look at his situation based on what he told the @Telegraph

Because this does NOT add up!

No, this is not a “poor pensioner” scrabbling around for pennies…

This is why coaches wear their rugby boots.
Coaching U12s on Monday, running an exercise on ruck defence & demoed defending the edge by acting as sniping scrum‑half. In the wet, wearing trainers, I slipped mid-sidestep without a soul laying a finger on me & crashed like a sack of spuds. Pretty sure I cracked a rib, still fucking killing mun.

TW - racism

another day, another pensioner, another racism.

Punter of ours - Irish immigrant himself - looks at a
?South Asian? couple browsing in my Hi-Fi store & says as they're leaving

"You won't fit that in the tent"

"YOU WHAT PAT?"

"WHAT WAS THAT PAT?"

"Oh, nothing"

Wanker.
TW-racism

We had a pensioner(?) do a racism to us yesterday
He opened the shop door, looked at us 3 cishet white guys & said, very loudly:

"What a lovely oasis from all these Indian shops!"

I was first to remark & joined by a colleague:

"Paint roundabouts do we?"

but he'd fucked off.

Wanker.
When people like Lucy White thunder the explicit racism of "there should not be a single person born in Pakistan in the UK House of Commons", ask them whether Boris Johnson, who was born in America, should have been permitted to be the Mayor of London, an MP, and the PM.

If anyone is attending tomorrow's IPSC march in Belfast, be aware that fash types are openly planning some kind of confrontation.
If someone sticks a camera in your face, do not engage.
If you see instigators within the march/rally, point them out to stewards.
Keep yourself and your comrades safe.

Marc! Marc! Can you do it again mate?
Is that clockwise from his perspective or from the perspective of the person looking at him?

I'm not doing Black Friday discounts this year.
It’s just me in my Manchester studio. I can't compete with big brands slashing prices.
Every purchase keeps my tiny business going.

As Quakers, we believe in working towards a fair and sustainable future.

The government should make oil and gas giants pay for the climate damage they have caused, so we can fund a just climate transition.

The Budget was a major missed opportunity to do that.

Hi-Fi stores and

"I lost a loudspeaker spike!"

"I can't find this value(size) fuse anywhere!"

"I need a bolt for this wall bracket!"

you're welcome 🙂

Why yes, I do enjoy M&S Jaffa Cakes, now you come to mention it...
One thing i appreciate as a glasses wearer is you can go in to most opticians and say "i lost a bridge pad"

INSTANTLY a tiny old guy will Tom Bombadil himself out of a door you didn't even know was there.

He will have a box. And a tiny screwdriver.

And ten minutes later your glasses are fixed.

This huge amount could have paid for lower train and bus fares, better stations, safer walking, wheeling and cycling and much more!
