Beyond disappointed to learn that Arc Raiders, like The Finals before it, uses AI voice acting.

So many iconic game voice work is little vendor greetings, and to farm that out to a machine is a hollow admission of a lack of care.

I know a thousand actors who would have done better for buttons.

With AI I'm finding out that, apparently, people didn't want to make art, meet people, learn how to play music or discover new places. They just wanted the "achievement" of having done those things, like cheating on a videogame to get some medals.

for both artists and clients: if you use pinterest to make moodboards or plan designs, highly recommend making sure these are turned OFF
