They really want to force you to love their bullshit.

It's not enough to have the power, it means nothing to them if they feel bad when people say things.

i really wish the people riding this hard for a nazi tattoo took the word "labor" out of their handles and profiles because i'd love to have unions exist in the future that aren't explicitly fash-embracing
The only evidence platner knew it was a Nazi tattoo, which he denies, is an anonymous person attributing a quote to him in 2012 in the Jewish Insider. He's vociferously against the ongoing genocide and you're helping Schumer and the DSCC kill his campaign on the basis of a smear.

John Fetterman is a uniquely horrible person but the real reason I make fun of him so much is he reminds me of something I saw once in a nightmare

if i was looking for another angle by which to be offended by this entire affair, this is it. working class champions who are convinced that we all have nazi tattoos
Putting this down to classism is legitimately insane even for that bunch, holy shit

Sorry it's a completely unknown feeling to me at this point to have the leader of a political party respond to a question in the exact manner that I think they should.
The interviewer asks @zackpolanski.bsky.social if he's worried about splitting the left vote & whether the best way to beat the right is to vote Labour.

Zack: "The idea that the Labour party are on the left is completely incoherent"

My man if you get a totenkopf in a croatian tattoo parlor that does them because it's on the wall, the wall is also covered in swastikas lol
Not particularly. The guy is obviously dubious for getting a tattoo of that kind, whether he knew about Nazi symbolism or not. But these SS symbols on uniform caps aren’t that distinctive like swastikas that most people would know about them. But if he’s worth stopping don’t let me spoil your fun!

The fact that Starbucks is abruptly scaling back its expansion plans is obviously significant as a recession indicator. But what I find fascinating about this story is that they don’t build or own their own stores, specialized businesses develop them and outside investors own them. on.ft.com/4oxw6BZ

I don't understand why so many people are saying "good luck finding a man without a Nazi tattoo!!!" like bro how many of you are there

A drunken tattoo is a mountain that turns out to be a penis upon second glance.

If you got a nazi tattoo and didn't get it lasered off first thing in the morning then you were ok with having a nazi tattoo
This is not something anyone can credibly equivocate about like all the assholes denying the nazi iconography of sonnenrads on Ukrainian soldiers
Also the totenkopf is not exactly an obscure nazi iconography. It's probably #3 for recognizability after the swastika itself and the ss lightning bolts

"the president is literally stealing $230 million of taxpayer money to pay himself and knocking down a wing of the white house in order to build a giant ballroom"

I dunno I feel like staggering levels of corruption could still be an effective campaign message
President Trump is demanding that the Justice Department pay him about $230 million in compensation for the federal investigations into him.

Whether he gets paid will ultimately be up to DOJ's second-in-command, who was recently his personal lawyer.

again SNAP is a conservative, business-friendly program to deal with the fact that produce rots. It should be universal and you'd have to do something weird to opt-out of it for a tax credit
I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.
it squares out quite well with the added fact that he worked at the beltway bars all those guys were at is pals with them, which greased the skids quite a lot for his launch. I had no idea before today

This entire article is worth your time. We no longer have a government in any real sense. We have a gang that uses state power to punish opponents and reward supporters, sometimes for the same behavior

it's funny to see things like this every day, reflexively ask yourself "where is the limit," remember that "there are no limits" but then have your inner institutionalist say "but imagine if one day we do reach a limit lol"
Breaking News: President Trump wants $230 million from the Justice Department for investigating him, people familiar with the matter say. Any settlement might ultimately be approved by senior department officials who defended him or those in his orbit. nyti.ms/4hmIi5X

The amount of time way too many people are wasting right now pretending the Platner campaign isn’t over could be much better spent trying to find someone else to stop an 80 year old from becoming the Democratic nominee.
Somehow I think that guy may be making up quotes!!!
Congratulations to Susan Collins once again
