You're writing this down right? Good. As I was saying my car sucked so bad my wife left me. Yes I can spell my name for you.

Can you imagine if a left-wing candidate’s performance had been as incoherent and all over the place as Humphreys’? Can you imagine if Connolly was being sued for defamation by a sitting TD? The status quo perception of the left as unserious and the establishment as well-oiled is long outdated

Tommy Robinson being stopped in a borrowed Bentley, with £13k cash and an Irish passport, claiming he lives in Spain, is peak British satire.

Some time next year a squad of Russians will be marching through a Ukrainian forest and wonder why they're suddenly surrounded by poorly typeset logos
Would love one of these.. #aras25
Wheeling out Mary Harney to smear Connolly.

Lol, lmao

Possibly concerning news for Sinn Féin? For nearly 3 decades, the SF share of the vote at Irish general elections has been correlated with the length of the title of Rob Zombie's most recent album. If the pattern continues, it could be ominous for SF at the next general election.

Vote for someone who takes their canvassers out for breakfast when they lose.
I'm from Galway and will be voting for Catherine Connolly in #áras25 I campaigned with her *against* the Lisbon treaty & for Marriage Equality & Repeal, I was there the day she lost a dail seat by 17 votes after which she brought us all out for breakfast and apologised for letting us down!

Wasn't this fella blathering on about how government means making the tough choices, at the cost of popularity, while justifying a budget that rewards developers and screws middle income workers, people with disabilities, and the elderly just a few days ago?

Turns out that when Americans said "If it weren't for us you'd be speaking German now..." their objection was to learning a second language, not fascism.

I'm confident there are Radiohead cover bands with better posters than this.

(Read the alt text btw)
This is one of the worst band posters I've ever seen. Why does Yorkie look like he's hosting the Weakest Link? Why does Selway look like a geography teacher who pretends to be a woman online? And why does Greenwood looks like a villager in a Hammer Horror film?
Radiohead are a band from England who were a very big deal in the late 1990s. In many ways they were the true successor to Nirvana in their combination of contemplative lyrics and hoofing guitar riffs. But as the years went by, pop music started to get really fucking good again and nobody wanted to listen to some pretentious Zionist complain about the price of avocados at the farmers market.

Also - they were sued by the Dad of the guitarist from the Strokes because they plagiarised one of his songs in "Creep".

"I would smear the bejaysus out of her, simply because you've nothing to lose... you've got to create a fear... in my experience, nothing works like negative campaigning."

They're really openly saying the quiet part out loud now aren't they...🤔
Ah lads, it took two (2!) journalists to copy and paste the AI reviews summary and post an affiliate link?
Sounds interesting, but is there some way to view online?

When you hear disingenuous smears of Catherine Connolly's work as a barrister, please keep Seána's point here in mind.
